David, you have a double-negative statement here so I'm not sure about your problem condition: "...but it does not seem that the engine alternator never charges the battery..." I mean the "not...never" part.
I was looking to see where the Coach was charging the Chassis when the Converter/Charger was running. Unless the battery for the road engine is charged by the C/C part of the coach, I didn't think you had a BIRD.
Seems to me that if you had a BIRD it'd be near your Isolation Device and AUX Start Relay.
Glad you posted this, it's got me interested in the BIRD topic. Wish I could find a wiring diagram. Intellitec posts a .pdf data sheet but not the install instructions/owner manual.
