- WoodtrollExplorerThanks very much, everyone, for taking the time to reply; I really do appreciate it! It looks like the Wiha tools are a good compromise between quality and my budget. I will give them a close look, but will check out the other options too.
Thanks again, safe travels!

I have been infatuated with both those brands for a half century. Unfortunately I believe neither offer other than measurement hand tools any more. I have some B&S tungsten drills that outperform anything else I have ever used. Boy are those drills heavy! - PadlinExplorer
- jwmIIExplorerLocate a precision tool supplier and get a set of Starrett. Also checkout Brown and Sharpe. Both if they still have them might be a little pricey but you will never need to buy them again.
- SCVJeffExplorerHarbor Freight and Quality are contradictory words.
- isaExplorerI got mine at Harbor Freight.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerWiha also sells driver screwdriver tips for battery or corded tools. Truly improved bit life. Their diamond coated tips really help to reduce cam-out (stripping of the head)
