Which Group 27 battery

I'm looking to replace my group 27 batteries. I called around and Sam's Club had Enegizer 27 Deep cycle for $79 guy "thought it had 100AH". West Marine had their version for $150. And it looks like I could get an AGM from Bass Pro for around $250. Leaning towards the maintenance free Enegizer for $79. I have solar and a three stage charger if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

I like DEEP CYCLE,, Ill be all those are MARINE/deep cycle (note case).

Thus I'd go with GC-2 from Sam's or DEKA or Interstate, or the local golf car store.

Oh, you pick up an additional 15-40 amp hours.
  • I have a group 31 AGM in my clipper. I love it! It was more expensive, but I have yet to run it down while dry camping for a long weekend. No worrying about water, etc.

I always try to compare the battery I am looking at to this TROJAN PROD SPec Guide PDF

    TROJAN PRODUCT SPEC GUIDE

If you can find the weight of the GP27 Deep Cycle Battery you can come pretty close to its AH rating just by its weight....

    The 24TMX 85AH 12V Battery weighs 47LBS
    The 27TMX 105AH 12V Battery weighs 55LBS
    The 27TMH 115AH 12V Battery weighs 62LBS

Hard to find spec sheets on the big store batteries...
