Why is my water heater anode NOT wearing out??

I've had this new trailer (and its new anode) for a year and a half -- more than 100 nights of camping, with lots of hot water usage. Today I checked the anode -- it was in perfect condition, althoug...

I check mine on my OFF-ROAD POPUP once a year when I drain my hot water for the winter. It shows some use but no where at the point to be replaced. This has been installed since 2008. I will say we don't use the HOT WATER all that much. I have the 6 gallon suburban model.
