Why is my water heater anode NOT wearing out??

I've had this new trailer (and its new anode) for a year and a half -- more than 100 nights of camping, with lots of hot water usage. Today I checked the anode -- it was in perfect condition, althoug...

Actually I think it might be the higher the mineral content the longer the Anode rod lasts. but the bottom line is it has to do with the quality of the water.. Be it lower or higher mineral content, Or to be more precise the type of mineral content (Some accelerate anode wear some retard it) the bottom line is it's the water.
