Two Group 24, most likely Marine/Deep Cycle, batteries 27 amp hours each so you have 150 amp hours and since these are basically starting batteries you really should use no more than 50 of those amp hours.
Two GC-2 Golf Car batteries in series: 230 amps of DEEP CYCLE battery.
Since these are DEEP CYCLE you can safely use up to half of capacity of 115 amp hours.
In short, A lot more power.. (Longer time between recharge) note it will also take longer to recharge.
Does this answer your question?
Now: Everytying you need to know about the care and feeding of six volt batteries in RVs
There are no six volt batteries in RVs.. Only 12 volt batteries that have been split in two for ease in handling (Them suckers ARE heavy).
So many questions are answered by that.. I will give an example
Should both of them be the same (Age, Size, Type) Would you buy a 12 volt battery where half of it was 3 years old and the other half new?
Always treat the pair as though they were ONE battery.
Multiple pairs in series parallel.. Treat EACH pair as though it was one battery
Finally: Feed electricity and DISTILLED WATER only, Clean and inspect regularly
