I know from experience the average GC2 is treated just like Mex states, like a poor galley slave. The carts go out with a full charge, a half charge, or enough to get off the first tee. Cart boys fill the cells with a garden hose. The charging connections are never serviced and there is any guess how much each cart or even each battery is receiving in amount of charge. When stored, it's nice to have them all fully charged but no one checks. I serviced a fleet of sixty that sat for 5 mos. through a MN Winter, outside.
The battery mfgs. know this is the scene so "he who makes the longest running" wins the game. AFAIK, Trojan is the leader.
FWIW, I bought the Sam's club GC2's because I'm able to pamper them and they should have a service life out to what nearly a Trojan attains. They were nearly 50% cheaper in my area.
