There is an island off here where folks live where there is no hydro (IE electric power lines to it) so they have solar.
Story is they (bunch of hippies is the rest of the story :) )are the main customers for those used T-1275s from the golf car place where I got my used T-1275s a year ago. I figure those guys would use any batteries they could, but these get them by for the best price.
In fact I am now on solar with a pair of those used T-1275s and it works out great. (But I am not a hippy so it must work for everyone!)
