The answer is "maybe". I know one Honda 2000 will not run my air compressor requiring 1300 watts. Electric motors on items like compressors and water pumps take a lot of surge wattage to get the motors started. Honda invertor style generators don't handle surge wattage well at all, though they can handle the operating wattage.
In talking to Honda and the compressor mfg, they doubted even two Honda 2000s could start my compressor.
Having said that, I think one Honda 2000 will handle the surge starting wattage of your 900W pump, but you won't know until you try.
