Batteries are good, just check the water levels periodically. I've also got a trik-l-start wired into the chassis battery (and plugged into coach 120v system).

That's about our situation with our 2005 Itasca Spirit using only it's stock converter for over 10 years. However, I use AGM coach batteries in it that are spec'd to be floated at 13.5 - 13.8 volts - not the usual float spec of around 13.2 volts. My coach batteries are on the converter almost full time except when they're getting 14.XX volts from the engine alternator while traveling.
