I'd bet the OP knows a pilot flame when he sees one.
I would first re adjust the air mix (very easy) on the main burner flame for the hi altitude,......that could improve it drastically.
Those pilot flame heaters suck in the wind, even the latest ones.
Installing a baffle in the door can help it,....or park your TV close to it.
