Winegard Carryout loses signal without 12 volt

i think you mean it worked until you unplugged it, and now it won't work any more
please clarify
because that is Not what you said

because what you said is it won't worked unplugged
its a electronic device it has to have 12v power too work

shut it off, unplug, let it set for about 30 min, while praying to god Murphy
then plug it in and try again
if it don't work, you blew something internal
