Winegard Carryout loses signal without 12 volt

I have been using the Carryout for a few years as a full-timer. It worked Thursday. Today when I hooked it up, it worked fine until I unplugged it from the 12 volt. Tried it several times. It has a...

Age, voltage levels, power transients, etc can all be factors. Perhaps these are some of the reasons to leave it plugged in.
