Winegard Sensar Pro ,signal meter & amp
Hooked it up as per directions, nothing, just using the batwing and an old Radio Shack booster , I get 11 channels. Is it defective, is there troubleshooting I can do ?

- I did not catch that Radio Shack booster.. Get rid of it.
Some info on those.
First the Sensar pro sends 12 volts to the roof, but if the RS Booster is between it and the Roof then it will block the 12 volts.. There is a booster INSIDE the Batwing that needs that 12 volts to work, else it is the opposite of a booster.
Second the 12 volts on teh RS Output may damage it.
also the Sensar Pro duplicates it's services. - You may have to turn the gain down on it too. It can go to 20 but that is not always the right amount.
- 10 is the correct starting point (no gain, no attenuation). If things are not good you can raise or lower the gain from there.
- DID NOT US THE RS BOOSTER WHILE THE SENSAR WAS IN THE CIRCUIT, WANTED TO MAKE A COMPARISON OF BOTH
