Winegard TRAV'LER Dish removal

Recently purchased a used Gulf Stream and it came with a Winegard Traveler Dish. I have zero intentions of using satellite TV in the RV. I'd prefer to put another solar panel in its place on the roof. Does anyone know if it leaves a hole in the roof after removal or just bolt holes that will be need to be sealed up. Also do these have any value to sell? It also has the control unit inside.
  • Winegard makes 2 models. DISH and DIRECT. Make sure you list which one if you sell it. When you remove the Travler, there will be the mount screw holes and usually at least a 1.5 inch to 3 inch hole where the Controlcable and COAX cables go inside the Roof. Install a plate over the cable entry holes with liberal amount of Dicor between the plate and then on top the plate. Then install the screws back into the mount screw holes and cover with Dicor roof sealant.
