Winegard Wingman

I'll add my "yes" to all those above. Makes the antenna just about the best you can get. Only takes about a minute not counting climbing up on the roof.:)

Yes and YES. I ran that way from about 2008 till about a month ago. Then I forgot to lower it one day and put on a Sensar IV (With Wingman built in) That too turned out to be an "UPGRADE"

But the wingman by itself is well worth the cost.. There were additional issues with my older Batwing that may have contributed to the difference between a III+Wingman and an IV. in theory there should not be that much difference.

But when I added the wingman I noticed a big difference in range.

yes, we did. and with more stations changing transmitter frequencies to UHF it’s almost a necessity.

I've also had the Sensar Pro installed for about 3 years. Just got to thinking about the Wingman again.

My batwing is about 6 years old. I emailed Wingard a couple years ago and they said if I add the Sensar-Pro and the Wingman, I would basically end up with the equivalent of the Sensar IV setup.

I did it and highly recommend it.

Agree on replacing with the Sensar IV. Made a siginificant change when we upgraded. 60+ mile range, but very directional.

My take- if the antenna is 10 years old, replace the head with the wingman equipped Sensar IV- not a whole lot more than adding a wingman, but you get all new electronics.

Make sure your antenna is equipped with the booster. If it is, get the wingman.
