Mine draws ~2.2 amps on medium speed (or about the same as two 12 volt incandescent light bulbs). The size of battery bank you have will determine how long you can run it, but a typical ~200 Amp hour battery can run it for about 45 hours before you get down to 50% charge.

My worry about this setup is that the only accessory 12 v outlet I have is the cigarette lighter in the front cab. Which, could drain the starter battery causing me to become stranded. Maybe I'm worrying too much, but it's a small concern.
I've looked around the coach and I didn't find any 12 v cig lighter type plugs anywhere, I see nothing but standard plugs that don't work unless the generator is running.
