Yeah this is the simplest approach for sure, but there are a couple thing about this.
1. The exterior plug on the TT is in a location that will make plugging in a permanent cable less than desirable.
2. I want to run power to my screen room (couple plugs plus a small overhead light, and a plug to my shed. (shed has a solar light).
3. I still want the exterior plug on the TT to be available for temp use when required.
Oh, I was suggesting you wire up a new connection/plug into the breaker panel just for this not use existing connections. That way you can place it where you need/want and it's all protected by the TT and you don't need a completely new box.
