Would you?

Drove 8 hours round trip to inspect and drive a 2014 Newmar Bay Sport 2702. SWEEEET. Perfect size for the two of us. The price ? not so perfect. I think I can arm wrestle or sweet talk, matter of opinion down some more. Searching on web for I can't find a "meeting price". So what would a smart girl do? Turn to my RV net buddies. Would you pay 92K?

when I went to the factory in PA to select a flair I found the one I wanted and asked to see the window sticker. the sticker is not put on until the dealer tells them what they want the MSRP to be.

  • Get the MSRP paperwork FROM THE MANUFACTURER and make an offer of 70% of MSRP.
  • I assume you are talking about a new unit? list 112K, sale 92K 18% off. you have a 14 RV motorhome and want a new one already? do a better web search. the one I saw had a listing a mile long of "stuff" but no where did it mention roof material?

  • I did a quick Google search and found a couple 2013 models for less than $80,000. Like the man says, it's just how much you want to spend.

Too rich for my blood, but I'm a cheapskate. :)
  • When we wanted to buy a "new" Winnebago we waited until the new line came out and purchased a year old new Sightseer and got a much better deal than the new model. So you might try to find a 2013 never owned "new" Newmar and have a better chance of getting a bargain. Looks like the 2014's are listed above $100K. Also depends on the options. We also drove to another state to purchase the Winnebago and saved $10K. Keep us posted and post pics!!
  • What are YOU willing to pay? That is the bit question? If you can find one cheaper then you might have a bargening chip. But i suspect if this is a pre owned RV it will be close to what they owe on it. If it is a dealer then you might have some more room
