Wow! Unplugged 50 to 30 amp adapter....50amp female melted

Stayed 2 weeks in Floirda. With the 30amp plug with just AC and one other appliance (fan) kept tripping breaker. Put my 50 amp to 30 amp adapter and when left after 1 week of redoing....found my 'fema...

30a connections run close to max ratings. There is also a cancer effect. If you have a worn male connector on your main cord, it will burn up a brand new high quality dog bone. Toy need to get smart. Look at your plugs and adapters. If any as discolored and show melted rubber time to replace. You may need to replace everything at once.
To add to the mix is MANY 30A pedestals are hosed and will ruin your now new
Connectors. ALWAYS use a 50a to 30 if you can.
