My older (1999) Dometic 13.5 worked after putting a start capacitor and fan delay on. My newer Dometic 15k on my 2014 Sundance sort of worked as is. It did start and run. Neither the AC or generator liked it and I didn't have enough headroom to run my interior lights after it got stabilized......
I would be interested in the feedback you get. Because I may want to set up an additional AC in my rig and maybe if I get one a little smaller I could run it on the genny in a pinch and not bother to upgrade my gen
