Yamaha EF2000IS Inverter Generator ground
We will be using this generator with our 5th wheel. The instruction manual talks about a "ground (earth) terminal", and there is a ground terminal on the generator. What does this mean we need to do??...

When using your portable gen with your RV neither needs an Earth ground. If somehow you were using your portable gen to run the stick house , then maybe the story would be different , no idea, not a clue. Doesn't matter. Just plug the shore power cable into the receptacle of the portable gen (with adapter for twist lock if required or 30/15) and enjoy.
Next you will be asking about "floating neutral" and why your three- light tester doesn't like your gen, or maybe your RV has an EMS (?) and hates your gen. There is a cure for that too. One step at a time here :)
