Yamaha Genny EF3000iSEB Inverter Board (new in 2017)

A few weeks ago, I was camping with my teenage kids, and one of them turned on the Genny while it was plugged into the RV, and the Air Conditioner was still turned ON. Afterward, there was no A/C output, and the A/C green light never turned on. I bought a replacement inverter board, but it was missing a connector for a 12V, with large gauge wires. My guess is that was for the "boost" option. I am looking for the correct part number for it. I have attached a picture, showing the old one, and the one I ordered (which is missing a connector), which I had to send back. Thanks for anyone who can help me locate the correct part. I know they are $700 - $900. So, I hope this time around, I can get the correct one.. Thanks, all! Oops, still need to use the old method for attaching pictures? Jussec... The original board has a sticker on one of the large CAPS that reads, "7CH-DO (120V) 14010572"

  • Sorry I can't help. Know little to nothing about Generators. Solar all the way for me.
  • I have solar, but I need it to run the microwave and air conditioner.
  • I would take the model and serial numbers to your nearest yamaha dealer to get the correct part.
If the part is truely $700-900, that is nuts.
I just bought a Champion 3400 inverter with electric remote start for $799.
  • Are you sure the inverter board is the problem? Seems like a very expensive guess unless you are sure and eliminated everything else.
  • The Yamaha generators are so darn reliable that there probably aren't very many people around with any repair experience to assist you.
