Don’t obsess about payload. Glad ton trucks have all been about the same for about forever. Only measurable differences being if Frod still offers a heavier axle. GM and Ram doesn’t and hasn’t had axle gvw options.
payload should be the last thing on the list of considerations as th axles are always stronger than the rating by a good margin and spring rate is cheap n easy to increase.
