Yep, big covers and some ugly reflective tap on he mirrors.- I'd love a new HD truck, but it's just not a responsible thing to do since My current truck (2009 3500HD) only has 50,982 miles on it.
Buying a new truck with the DEF system is a no go due to how little I drive what I have. - I never thought I'd see a new body style so soon after the 2015 redesign.

Its not all that early, around 2 yrs earlier than typical. You'll see the revised 2500 on the lot in 2019, but it will be a 2020. The HD always lags way behind the 1500.
