I never thought I'd see a new body style so soon after the 2015 redesign.
I'm betting it's chassis revisions too. I forget now, but I didn't think the 2015s changed much in the chassis department, rather mostly sheet metal and interior.
Engines just got an update for '17 so unless they have some major emissions breakthrough, it's probably still have the L5P Dmax.
Now if GM actually makes a mega cab I'll be interested. Love me some Dmax/Alli combo again even though our house is 100% Mopar right now save for the old Jeep from the AMC era and my company Chevy truck. - One thing I noticed was a front door design similar to Ford in the window shape. It swoops down at the front to allow a better view of the mirror.
There's a Ford feature I have admired for many years.
My 07 Classic Dually is getting a little old now. Over 360,000K on the odometer - sure wouldn't mind a new one but at 80 grand to replace mine it ain't happening any time soon! Especially now that I'm going to be off work for months with a bad shoulder injury.... - Ralph_CramdenExplorer II

Its not all that early, around 2 yrs earlier than typical. You'll see the revised 2500 on the lot in 2019, but it will be a 2020. The HD always lags way behind the 1500.

I'd love a new HD truck, but it's just not a responsible thing to do since My current truck (2009 3500HD) only has 50,982 miles on it.
Buying a new truck with the DEF system is a no go due to how little I drive what I have.
Same here. My 2005 hasn’t quite hit 40k. - I never thought I'd see a new body style so soon after the 2015 redesign.

It's got really big square mirrors.
I wonder if they are covers, because they sure look ugly.
Yep, big covers and some ugly reflective tap on he mirrors.- NJRVerExplorerIt's got really big square mirrors.
