I'm betting it's chassis revisions too. I forget now, but I didn't think the 2015s changed much in the chassis department, rather mostly sheet metal and interior.
Engines just got an update for '17 so unless they have some major emissions breakthrough, it's probably still have the L5P Dmax.
Now if GM actually makes a mega cab I'll be interested. Love me some Dmax/Alli combo again even though our house is 100% Mopar right now save for the old Jeep from the AMC era and my company Chevy truck.
