Help identify high volume truck dealers

It's time to start researching my next truck.

I know that Ram has Dennis Dillon and Dave Smith as high volume dealers that generally have a large selection of trucks and usually have some of the best advertised prices.

I would assume that Ford and GM also have some high volume truck dealers that would have a large selection and some competitive pricing, but I'm struggling to find them.

Can anyone help list some high volume HD truck dealers?

what are you looking for? 3/4 ton,1 ton? DRW, SRW ? trim level?

Researching right now, but looking at 1 ton trucks in either XLT or Lariat. The bride will need to decide if XLT has enough gadgets for her or not.

I'm curious how much actual payload is available in the 12,400 GVWR trucks with those trim levels. Otherwise, might be looking at a DRW.

in 2015 when we were looking, our local credit union broker beat Dave smiths price by a noticeable amount on the truck (GMC Denali 2500HD duramax) we wanted.

Want to guess where the truck we wanted came from? Straight from Dave smith. shipped by carrier to our local dealer the broker works with for delivery.

I actually meant to say Dave Smith has sucked for a while.

We have been getting the XL-XLT levels delivered weekly, but not much above that.. The place I work ( Ford ) is about 2-1/2 hrs north of DC.

We did a dealer trade with Ted Britt over in Fairfax and when I got there to do the trade they were a larger dealership...nice people also..

They show a bunch of 250's in XL and XLT with 5 in the Lariat trim..

Dennis Dillon sells GMC also, but they don't have as many HD pickups in stock as they do Ram.

So does Dave Smith, but they aren't "high volume" dealers of GM.
  • Put the truck you want into autotrader. Then search by price. Find the discounted trucks.
A lot more in the east coast than west. Idk why you’d be looking in Idaho from DC.
    And Dave Smith sucks now.
