My dad had the amp steps on his truck. Had some issues with his, old motor design, I think they are 10+ years old. When they work they are awesome.
After his experience, I just put plain old tube side steps for my kids. They don't look cool but whatever.
Just did brakes and coolant flush. Trans service next and replace my valve body (85k). The early one are know to fail within 80-100k so I'm getting ahead of it. Saving my lunch money for a fully built Revmax 550....
Still debating on my 2" level kit sitting in my garage. Tires rub slightly on inner fenders, annoying. But...if I do that I'm doing a full redhead steering box, brace and rebuilding my front end. It's getting close to due and after going through death wobble in the past...not doing it with the TC and towing.
