Yes, rubber seal is visible in the picture with the cover open. Check the top rim of the box.
The paint job was a pain. I messed up the first try by contaminating the paint with silicone that was on a tack rag. DW ended up stripping that paint down to bare metal. Second paint job came out good. I applied one coat of primer and two finish coats.
