The whole assembly is cheap enough it's not worth it to replace the regulator and not the motor.
I use blue painter's tape to hold the window up when you disconnect the regulator...a couple long strips on the outside of the window, over the door frame and to the inside of the window glass.
Beware the el-cheapo Chinese parts....I bought more than one for the Grand Prix where it was wired backwards. You had to push the switch "up" to lower the window and vice versa.
Also if you have a tool for those plastic clips it makes the job a whole lot easier instead of fighting trying to pry them out with a screwdriver.
