I feel that my brakes are as good as alot of 3/4 tons, and with my gear ratio and engine I seem to have more than enough power to pull this trailer. With the lower gear ratio there should be less wear on the drivetrain. As I said before, my first time towing this camper was with the company f350 dually diesel, so I do know the difference between the two trucks. I will probably get a 2500 down the road, but my point of the post is that my truck can haul this camper without much effort. I do agree with the comments about the rear end and will be keeping a close eye on it.
