Keep in mind the biggest maintenance item with a Cummins Ram, is the Ram it's self.
Once you are happy that the engin is all it is said to be check out the front end of the truck. The 4X4 has been known to need ball joints early. That said I have replaced mine and am very happy with my Cummins Ram.
