On the previous failures, up until the third changeout, they looked pretty dirty. I noticed what appeared to be slivers of black debris. After reading a bit I wondered it this was a microbial trash.
However, on this last failure, although the filter had a gray look, I saw no evidence of these large slivers. I saved it to discuss with the shop.
