Raften if you're runnnng bio/veggie/grease trap diesel then I'd expect to get some issues.
But for most who pull up to a commercial pump and burn #2 in a well maintained truck, this is rarely if ever a problem.
CW, if in tank pumps for normal service were so bad then why did a major mfg go to that style for 10+ years and counting? And why can a Dmax work well with the same cp3 as a Cummins but the cp3 can suck fuel through a filter and needs no lift pump? Bottom line, Rams in tank LPs are a generally reliable setup and IMO superior to the Dmax where the IP does all the work?
