I thought I would report back on what we believe we have found to be the problem previously described and it is NOTHING like I had thought.
My local shop installed the new Titan 60 Gallon Fuel Tank. I inspected the old one. NO evidence of microbial debris. It looked really quite good.
It appears the ENTIRE issue may have been electrical, including the low fuel pressure sending unit replacement in South Georgia although there is still some evidence otherwise.
Specifically, the most recently experienced flashing engine light frequency clicking corresponded to low voltage to the Engine Control Module. An engine code was obtained for this issue AND.. BELIEVE IT OR NOT the battery cable connections to the newly installed batteries have an externally connected ground wire to this battery post that affects this module and it was loose. I honestly do not understand how the cables were as loose as they were, but funky things happen with partial connections.
Anyway there were loose clamps to the one battery post on driver side positive terminal and loose connections of the PCM ground wire on the negative battery post. Incredible! and Incredibly expensive for these simple issues. The final loose wires attached to top post secondary attach points were only discovered when I went to the shop, after they thought it was fixed, and started the engine (after they had run it for hours with no issue) and it shut down after about 3 seconds. When the mechanic put his meter on the connection for a measurement, it re-connected and the engine would start perfectly. Luck, finally.
I think I will really like the new Titan 60 gallon Tank. To install it my air compressor and tank had to be relocated to the other side of the truck. At least I've got more range when my full confidence is won back.
I plan to do a lot of driving locally before I mount up the camper for a long outing to increase confidence we have fully corrected the issue. Don't think the wife will allow anything else..
thanks again for all the help.. Hope this is the final solution
