I have a 2005 and when I pull with T/h the transmission shifts: I would say more crisp or sharper, I was told the t/h mode increased the line pressure so the clutches do not slip.
mine works fine, I always pull the camper with t/h on
however, I sure wish I had an exhaust brake, now that would be cool.
so far, 72K miles, the truck is great,
2005 dodge 2500 diesel, quad cab, short bed.
great fuel mileage for a big heavy strong truck,
