Having gone from a 325hp/610tq Cummins that was chipped to about 375hp/750tq to a 6.4L Hemi with 410hp/429tq, I can tell you the towing performance between the 6.4L Hemi and the stock Cummins is about equal. The Hemi just uses higher RPM to get the job done.
Your 2002 7.3L will be either 250hp/505tq (auto trans) or 275hp/525tq (manual trans). The 2008 V10 was 362hp/457tq.
Yes, it is rare. Part of why I am interested in this one.
