Agree...a good electric motor and its controller should have the ability to go
+300% torque...but...its duty cycle will drop significantly...and...for
those who do not know...any good electric motor can have 100% or more
torque at ZERO RPM...why ICE's use an electric motor to start them...
Then, with that good controller...regenerative braking will be there too
Issue continues to be the storage device. Lith-Ion isn't up to the task just yet.
Only on specialty vehicles...none for towing heavy...maybe saline batteries, but the
technology isn't mature enough yet...
Also, knew it had to be a combo of gear sets to get up to 10 speeds WITHOUT
increasing the size of the tranny much over what the tunnel can accommodate for now
