100% Gasoline vs 10% Ethanol

I can tell you that on my V-10 Excursion it dropped my mileage by up to 2mpg. And had power down to the point sometimes I could barley hit 55mph into a headwind. I filled up in WI once with straight gas non ethanol 92. Huge difference. Felt like the X picked up another 50HP! I ran another tank while I was up there. When I got home I had to fill with 10%E, back to the way it was. So I experimented with 92 with 10%E this got me almost where I was. I ran 93 10%E for another year before I got a tune from 5 star where I could run 89 from anywhere and I got my mileage and performance back.

Ethanol is a waste IMO and serves no useful purpose other than helping out farmers with tax incentives. And makes the greenies feel better!
