1000 pound tongue weight: 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton???

Been there done that, I ran with 1000lbs on the TW on my previous TT with a very capable F150 (max tow 3.5eb with the 7700gvwr) and it's simply too much for a half ton. Moved up to a 3/4 ton and all was well. If you consider the move, please go strait to a 1t SRW for the extra few bucks, then you've got options if ever things change and you want to move up to a bigger TT or fiver.
