100K mile Duramax

132k on my 07 classic lbz. The Allison was repaired under warranty, and I had to replace the cooler lines (NOT WARRANTY) at about 90k.
The only 2 known issues on the 06/07 trucks is the tranny cooler lines, and "pump rub" in the transfer case if it is a 4x4. And yes, EFI-LIVE is your friend...

I bought my '07 classic CCSB 4x4 Dmax in july of 2007, just as the new model was being released. I'm so glad I bought this truck. I just turned 106k miles, and have never had a single problem with it. I tow pretty much everywhere I go, and lots of those miles were pulling a heavy 5th wheel toyhauler to the dunes and back. I love this truck, it will never be for sale. The power is incredible, the allison 6 speed is perfectly mated to the engine, shifts smooth and solid. Mine is bone stock, I hear with EFI live you can get quite a bit more power, but the tranny then becomes your weak link. Try and find something bone stock if you can, then if you want to modify it you know exactly what you did. Don't let mileage scare you away, these are awesome trucks.

well its not very hard to remove some of those items on the lmm, its really only the dpf thats different. i prefer the lmm body style. lbz still has a cat and egr also. can a dealer sell deleted vehicles?

Its a bummer than that the 06 and early 07 had the more dated looking interior

I was so lucky that when I mentioned to my wife that Chev was having 0% for 5 years on a new Duramax that she said go get it! That was 6 years ago and now I have a 2007 with 35,000 miles paid off! It was the last year without the emissions crap. In my opinion, 2006/2007 were the best years. I do have low miles but 90% of those miles have been towing my 29ft toy hauler loaded with at least a golf cart if not sxs. Mileage is not spectacular, 19 empty, 11 towing. If the price were right, I would have no quams buying this truck with 100k on the clock.

I have a 2004 duramax with the early injectors, I assume they have never been changed according to a VIN search. Never had any problems and it runs like a dream. It has 73,000 miles.
