Dave, thanks for the post. My 2004.5 just turned 90k. You made me want to check; my PacBrake compressor was made in Canada and I have cast aluminum end caps on my intercooler. I use a 5 micron Baldwin fuel filter and Optilube fuel lubricant, hope it might give my injectors some extended life. Can't understand averaging 10 mpg. I just returned Friday from a 140 mile trip with the trailer in tow and averaged 12.2 mpg. The engine is a noisy jewel but I could use a couple of extra gears in the transmission.
