I'm anal about maintenance having worked in aviation for my career. I have every receipt and service record all in one notebook. I glossed over some of the minor things that have went wrong, no sense rambling. Good friend was an engineer for Cummins at the Columbus, In plant and he really helped me as far as proper oils and fuel issues. He was emphatic that Cummins was of the opinion that no fuel additives were needed so I listened, haven't used any yet.He stated that the engines were serviced with Valvoline Blue when new so I have stuck with it. When I set the valves it was as clean as new as far as rocker arms etc.
