It is hard to get much over 150,000 with the dual flywheel. Also the stick shaker manual is limited to about 660 foot pounds torque while the Aisin can handle 900 and up. For heavy towing the Aisin is better. The only nice thing about the dual flywheel is that it helps quiet the gearbox noises that would likely be there with a single plate.
It’s not the trans that can’t handle more than 660, it’s the clutch. New clutch solves that problem 100%.
I’m not suggesting it’ll hold more than the Aisin, never put much more through it than that. But 160kmiles running close to 1000ftlbs through mine, it is capable.
