With that 15K Montana I can see why you would be looking to increase carrying capacity.
You would need to go to the optional 18" or 20" tires/rims for hogher tire load ratings
This is exactly why I didn't go from 16" rim on my 01 Ram to the 2nd/3rd Gen 17" wheels. I would have gone from a 3,414# rating to a 3,195# rating the loss of 440# of rear capacity was not worth it to me.
My rear axle rating is 6,084# based on the stock 245/75-16 tires (3,042#) mine has the optional 265/75-16's (3,415#). I am well with in the stock rear axle rating and now have an additional 746# of capacity.
