1972 23' Terry TT rebuild project

My HOA will have a fit if I do something like that in my drive way. :(

Taking the siding off has been a chore. Old rusted staples and someone putting a ton of silicone sealant on the seams has made for slow going.

The siding has a TON of silicone on the seams that someone at some point put on it. That has made taking the siding off a pain in the rear. A 2" stiff putty knife has been my friend so far!

Taking the plastic fender skirts off left me not impressed. Right now I am planning on using them as templates to make new skirts out of diamond plate to replace them. If anything was to happen or a blow out, those plastic skirts would be toast.

I don't have a big enough garage to bring the camper into. So I have do everything with it parked out on my side driveway. When I am not working on disassembling it, I keep it covered with Tarps. I figure a little moisture isn't going to hurt anything since it has HORRIBLE water damage.

Once I am ready to begin the rebuild, I will be building a temporary carport over it to keep it shielded from rain that once done, I can take down.

I think that shower will come in pretty handy! The single holding tank on mine needs to be replaced. Once I get down to the frame I will be looking at doing a black tank and gray tank, not sure at the moment though. A single tank seems like it would fill rather fast.

I'll have to check the steel water tank out when I get it removed. At first sight it looks like it has seen better days. But fingers crossed it's in good condition.

I will be running all new wiring. Electrical isn't my strongest suit but I will be taking my time and asking a lot of questions! While I am in there, I do plan on adding some entertainment lines for TV and stereo.

I am still reading and learning about batteries and what I will need. I plan on making all the lighting LED when I get to that point so they don't draw much amps.

I am looking into possibly replacing the old jalousie windows. Not 100% sure at the moment though as I do like the old look of them. But I know they are not the most efficient or best. If I do change them out, I'd like to keep the windows the same size, definitely not smaller.
