Chevy's worst advertising nowadays is out on the road, every time I pass a work truck or van with paint missing from the hood, I know it's a GM product. And I think, why would I trust a company that can't even get their steel properly prepped for paint?
Those polyester leisure suits and hairstyles bring back the memories.
And while there's no rel excuse for peeling paint, its not exclusive to GM, AND all mfgs struggled with "new" VOC compliance laws 20-30 years ago or so.
And what does peeling paint on an old truck have to do with a new one?
Maybe time to find something new to fixate on....
