You will still have to be setup for towing legally in the states towed thru. Adequate chains, hold downs, and/or brakes, adequate ball size and hitch capacity, and operating running lights, brake lights, and turn signals on the rear end of the vehicle being towed activated by the towing vehicle. Do not have the towed vehicle key in the ignition with the steering wheel lock off! The towed vehicle front wheels being towed backward with the front wheels on the ground must act like it's a trailer with the steering wheels locked in straight behind alignment.
