1990 Mitchell 8 ft Truck Camper

Thanks,2Gordens, painful experience perhaps? Yes,the guy we bought our camper noticed the cab was sitting right on top of our truck. He raised it using 2x6's and we were all set. Ideally we could use a couple more of it in 8 ft length. I've come to a realization that maybe our Mitchell was rebuild in 1990 that's why it didn't have the original logo/tag plates and was sold as a 1990 instead of a pre-1980 TC. I am absolutely please with my find. It is just that I am obsessed to know more about it so if it has problems sometime down the road I'll be able to fix it.
