I was in high school when the 94 model came out, and prior to that Dodge was a literal afterthought. Even after the 94 redesign it's been a slow and steady rise from a very distant third to a relative equal. If this split out HD sales I would bet Ram would be a solid 2 even adding Chevy/GM together.
RAM HD trucks do outsell GM and Chevy combined when only 2500 and 3500 numbers are considered - at least they did a couple years back.
